Note Lonicera hypoglauca Miquel (syn. Lonicera affinis Hooker & Arnott var. hypoglauca (Miquel) Rehder) is a very similar plant to Lonicera affinis Hooker & Arnott. Lonicera hypoglauca has hairy leaves, Lonicera affinis has non-hair leaves.
Probably Lonicera affinis Hooker & Arnott var. pseudohypoglauca Hatusima is a synonym of Lonicera hypoglauca Miquel.
